This
program was crafted by the exercise master, Tony Horton. He traveled around to
spend time with various military organizations to put together a program that
was not only short, but highly effective, and BOY did he do just that. This
program will have you wanting to tap out, but at the same time asking for more.
It is a fast pace circuit workout that will elevate your heart rate to a good
fat burning level, while also improving your strength and endurance. It is
comprised of the basics such as push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and crunches, but
also throwing in total body movements such as burpees and gorilla crawls. Each
workout is designed to hit your body from every angle in order to maximize your
time and effectiveness of the program.
My
personal experience with this program was far from perfect, and had its ups and
way downs. I went through the first few weeks of the program on autopilot it
seemed. I was doing the workouts, but wasn’t fully incorporating the meal plan.
I just wasn’t giving 100% focus and dedication to the program, so I decided in
week 3 to just start fresh, and give it my all. The new start was great for me.
I was more focused and dedicated than before, and I was ready to see what
results I could achieve with this great program.
I
fought like a champ, and conquered 22 Minute Hard Corps. I was letting the
scale get in my head, and it was starting to derail me toward the end, but I
dropped my excuses and powered through.
I was more than happy with my results that you see below!! I lost 4 lbs,
but the visual results are what really impressed me!! This further proves that
the scales lie!!
Finishing
a full program is very satisfying, and helps build confidence. If I would have
just quit in Week 3 instead of recommitting, I would have destroyed my
confidence, and possible derailed my entire journey. We must wake up each day
with a renewal of our commitment to ourselves and our family to become a
healthier, happier person!! NEVER QUIT, NEVER ACCEPT DEFEAT!
